Could the case have something to do with the reds seeds and Red Tree? I hope so, I want to know more about that evil thing!Īnd that was the end of the Deadly Premonition 2 trailer in the Nintendo Direct presentation BUT there’s another teaser on the website! We see York again, he appears to be profiling something and he sees a person with Sugar Skull makeup…Īnd then appears to be in some sort of combat situation…hard to tell what he’s dealing with, seems to be a masked person with a gravestone chained to their back, and they don’t look friendly! What I find super interesting is the purple gas and the red vines in the room. Is this where he turned up after disappearing at the end of Deadly Premonition the Director’s Cut? He seems a bit younger too… (4/5 all the DC content was removed from DPO so no old man Zach…it’s just Zach a few years after the Greenvale investigation) IS THAT OLD MAN ZACH?! Or is it supposed to be David Young Henning? The placement of the scar and the face looks JUST like Zach’s. ![]() We get a nice shot of the man Aaliyah is interviewing…an that scar. I wonder who the kid is?Īpparently we will get to ride an airboat on the Bayou! Looks like fun! I hope we get to race to “American Idiot” Then we see the man himself (looking fine I might add!) just before he nearly turns into a dynamite blonde standing right behind him. Maybe he works at a Christian run hospital? ![]() He appears to a priest as well, if that clerical collar is anything to go by. Next we see York (?) it looks like his suit jacket getting grabbed by a Doctor by the name of Tyrone Sanders. We do get a nice shot of the place, it’s looks familiar…isn’t it David Young’s apartment from D4? Are we getting a crossover?! I hope so, I’m really bummed D4 didn’t get completed. In the beginning of the we see Special Agent Aaliyah Davis is conducting an interview with with an unnamed old man and her partner(?) operating a video camera Sorry I’m so late with posting this news (I was in the middle of work when the news dropped, big thanks to everyone for letting me know BTW!) BUT I’m here now to go over this trailer with a fine tooth comb! I wonder if this case has anything to do with the one mentioned at the end of the Director’s Cut.? The game is going to be set in 2005 during one of York’s old cases in Le Carré, a small town in New Orleans but will also be set in the future as well with a new FBI Agent, Aaliyah Davis. What’s really awesome is that it looks like it’s a team effort between Rising Star Games, White Owls, and Toybox Inc! The old crew is back together □ I’m very excited that Swery is co-writing again with Kenji Goda! □ĭeadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise shares a similar cell-shaded look of D4. I switched the A and B buttons and I noticed that when I talked to Polly it switched back to the default when the buy menu came up. There’s also weird shadow problems too…York looked demonic in the introduction cut scene I couldn’t hear with Emily and George…and the patrol car is way too dark compared to the environment.Īnother annoying issue is with the controls… even if you remap buttons it’s not reflected through out the game. I restarted the game which fixed the missing cutscene sound but when I got into the car and the sirens wouldn’t make a noise. The entire cutscene with Emily and George was silent for me, then later when York left the hotel there was no music or voice acting just movement sounds. ![]() I’m super disappointed so far just playing through Chapter 00-01 since the game audio comes and goes randomly. I hate to say this but the Switch Port has some issues…hold off purchasing a digital copy until the patch is available! No word yet on the price but that new cover art looks pretty awesome! Fingers crossed it’s actually stable guys… I’m currently downloading the game onto my Switch now and will let you all know how it handles □ A physical release of the game will come later this November from Aksys Games. Guys I never thought I would see the day but I got the shock of my life… Deadly Premonition 2 is happening and SOON! I can’t stop smiling!ĭuring today’s Nintendo Direct we not only learned that Deadly Premonition is now available on switch as Deadly Premonition: Origins but that a sequel, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is also in the works.ĭeadly Premonition: Origins is currently on sale on Nintendo’s e-shop for $29.99 and appears to be a new port of the Director’s Cut.
